This is an amazing opportunity for any aspiring string player of GRADE 6 STANDARD and above.

• Students have the option to participate in the whole day or the afternoon and evening concert.
• Selected advanced students will receive one-to-one masterclass coaching in the morning.
• There will be the chance to find about studying at conservatoires.
• In the afternoon, students will play alongside professors in a string orchestra.
• There will be a concert at 6.30pm.

Proposed timetable for the day

10.15am Registration (for whole day – masterclass and orchestral sessions and concert)

10.30am Welcome and presentation on studying at a Conservatoire from Nic Pendlebury (Head of Strings, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance)

11.00am Masterclass session with specialist string tutors from Trinity Laban

12.00pm LUNCH

12.45pm – 1.45pm Masterclass session with specialist string tutors from Trinity Laban

1.30pm Registration (for afternoon orchestral sessions and concert only)

2pm String Orchestra coaching (sectionals)

2.45pm BREAK

3.00pm String Orchestra coaching (full)

4.15pm BREAK

4.30pm String Orchestra coaching (full)

5.30pm SUPPER

6.30pm CONCERT
