OperaPLUS 2026 – The Team Mascot

Jackdaw Music Education Trust’s  award winning OperaPLUS project The Team Mascot (aka The Daughter of the Regiment by Donizetti) took place in the Spring and early Summer term.

Eleven schools from the Wells, Crewkerne and Gillingham areas took part in workshops, assemblies, rehearsals and four performances alongside our brilliant professional cast.

1,500 children and young people, their schools’ staff and their parents/carers were engaged in an amazing and unique musical experience.
