This policy sets out how Octagon Music Hub makes fair, transparent and accountable decisions when awarding funding, commissioning activity or procuring services.

It explains how different funding and partnership approaches are used, depending on whether Octagon Music Hub is supporting public-benefit activity, commissioning delivery or purchasing services. All decisions are informed by local need, data and the Local Plan for Music Education, and comply with Arts Council England, Department for Education and public sector governance requirements.
