Lead School–Led CPD Events Announced

Somerset Music and Dorset Music Service are working in partnership with the Octagon Music Hub Lead Schools to provide a series of free, bite-sized ‘Tea-Time Chat’ CPD sessions for teachers and education practitioners.

The programme has been curated and coordinated by Somerset Music and Dorset Music Service, bringing together expertise from Lead Schools to share practical approaches, inclusive practice and curriculum insight.

These after-school sessions are designed to be accessible, inspiring and immediately useful, with ideas that can be applied straight back into the classroom or setting.

Together, the Tea-Time CPD programme offers a broad and balanced range of sessions spanning early years through to secondary and post-16, with content covering inclusive practice, curriculum design, music technology, industry engagement and partnership working.

Sessions are designed to be short, practical and accessible, supporting teachers and practitioners across different settings to strengthen confidence, share good practice and connect music learning more effectively to the needs of their pupils and communities.
