Octagon Music Hub is looking for an Education & Training Graduate to join the team in Taunton, helping measure and showcase the impact of music education across Somerset and Dorset.

The two-year graduate role will support evaluation and data analysis, digital communications and programme development across the Hub’s funded partner network — turning data into meaningful insights and helping shape future decisions. One day a week, the successful candidate will also support the Somerset & Dorset Post-16 Creative Careers programme, helping build pathways into creative employment through research, employer engagement, work experience opportunities and projects that inspire young people to explore careers in music and the wider creative sector.

The role offers hands-on experience in research, evaluation, communications, partnership working and project delivery — the kind of grounding that builds a career in the cultural, education or public sectors.

Salary: Grade 12 (£28,595 per annum), rising in set increments through the Graduate Scheme to a final salary of Grade 11 (£32,597 per annum)
Contract: Fixed term, 2 years
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours a week
