Jack’s Music Club is open to musicians of any ability who want to play together in groups and ensembles\, try new ideas and build their musical skills week by week. \n\n\n\nSessions are designed to be welcoming\, creative and challenging\, helping young people grow in confidence while enjoying music as a shared experience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLearn from inspiring musicians\n\n\n\nJack’s Music Club runs five sessions each half term\, led by Kate Adams\, Jack’s regular club leader\, alongside a rotating programme of visiting musicians drawn from Jackdaws’ weekend course leaders. \n\n\n\nKate brings a rich background in theatre and music and has worked with Jackdaws Music Education Trust for nearly ten years. Alongside her\, young musicians also get the chance to work with professional performers and guest tutors from Jackdaws’ renowned weekend courses. You can explore the range of visiting musicians and instruments on offer here: \n\n\n\nThis means young people have regular access to world-class musicians\, representing a wide range of instruments and musical styles — an inspiring opportunity to learn\, listen and make music together every Friday. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho is it for?\n\n\n\nJack’s Music Club is open to 10–17 year olds and is ideal for: \n\n\n\n\nYoung people who enjoy making music socially\n\n\n\nThose looking to meet others with a shared passion for music\n\n\n\nHome-educated young people wanting regular group music-making\n\n\n\nAnyone who wants a relaxed\, creative way to unwind at the end of the school week\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArts Award opportunities\n\n\n\nYoung people attending Jack’s Music Club can also work towards Arts Award qualifications through the club\, supporting creativity\, leadership and personal development alongside music-making. \n\n\n\nFind out more about Arts Award here: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you’re interested in getting involved\, Jack’s Music Club offers a friendly\, inspiring space to make music\, try new things and be part of a musical community. \n\n\n\nPlaces are limited — early interest is encouraged.
